Positive mindsets

I am reading Joel Osteen's Your Best Life Now. I have been reading it for the last 6 months!

He writes: "Our emotions simply respond to what we're thinking about. They are neither positive nor negative. They merely allow us to feel what we're thinking. if you go around thinking sad thoughts, you're going to feel sad. If you go around thinking angry thoughts, you're going to be angry."

In another place he writes: "Jesus said, 'If you believe, all things are possible,' and the opposite of that is true as well. If you don't believe, if you're always negative, fretting, worried, or upset, then superantural changes will not be possible for you.
